London Tech Week

The annual exhibition festival London Tech Week attracted over 30,000 attendees June 12- to 16, including representatives of startups and companies from various countries, opinion leaders, politicians, and investors. The official Ukrainian delegation showcased nine companies in various verticals: Hardware & IoT, Fintech & Insurtech, Martech & Media, Cleantech, etc.

The results of the Ukrainian delegation:

• Participating companies were actively engaged at the Ukrainian booth having conducted more than 200 meetings with investors, potential partners and clients.
• Preliminary, the meetings resulted in agreements with investors from Great Britain, the USA, and the UAE, reaching the amount of more than $8 million.
• Oleksandr Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation, and Oleksandr Gryban, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, presented the opportunities of the Ukrainian tech sector and shared insights on its sustainability and growth on the London Tech Week stage.
• A number of meetings were held, in particular, with the founders of the Blue Lake VC venture fund and the London Business School top management, thus learning about opportunities for Ukrainian founders.
